Close ADHD / ADD
I have one child who is ADD and another who is ADHD. At this point in my life I could use the support of others who are either going through this or are parents like I am. I am tired of feeling alone in this.
Treatments
- Adderall Not Working
- Didn't stay in my sons system long enough.
- Concerta Working / Worked
- This worked very well for my daughter but caused daily headaches.
- Focalin Working / Worked
- Again this one caused way to many headaches in my daughter.
- Ritalin Not Working
- Again didn't last in my sons system.
- Strattera Not Working
- Didn't notice any difference while on this so we took our son off of it.
- Tenex Not Working
- My daughter was on this and ended up almost passing out due to her blood pressure dropping so low.
- Vyvanse Working / Worked
- This one is working for my daughter but we have taken my son off of it due to hisbecoming very anxious and depressed.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- This caused my son to become even more anxious and mean. My brother described it as "He had the eyes of the devil".
Close Sleep Apnea
My husband was diagnosed with sleep apnea about 7 years ago.
Treatments
- CPAP Working / Worked
- Works well, he does need a new one though.
Open Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS)
I had GBS back in 1976. I have always wanted to be able to share my recovery with others who are maybe just at the beginning of this.
Treatments
- Supportive Care Working / Worked
- Without the supportive care I would not have made it.
