Im 52 with a son who was a recovering addict. I have 3 children in all. But speak to only 1 now. I am labled as a caregiver thru my whole life. Ive raised foster children along with my own. Am now once again intherepy becuz of my sons actions.I love animals. I have 4 cats 2 dogs and a Chinchilla whom I love dearly. I hope to find a home in the country to move to again.

My youngest son was a recovering Heroin addict until he met this girl alot older than him in the methadone clinic. She has torn the family apart by using him in horendous ways. he has just recently set fire to a truck we both own and was disputing over. This girl has a boyfriend on the side and is also using him for whatever she needs. She is an Oxycodin user. Ive had to put a PFA on my son to protect myself. I am now even more in fear of her retaleations towards me.
Treatments
- Patience Not Working
- Ive done everything I could for my sons recovery and was working until this girl came into his life. She has gotten him hooked on Oxycodin and he is missing his regular appts to the clinic and they are concidering tossing him out. He no longer lives with me.
- Talking Not Working
- Ive talked til I was blue in the face. He was doing good til this girl came along. She has caused me to throw him out of my home and now he has blown every support the family has given him becuz of different actions he has done to the family.
- Writing Too Soon to Tell
- I try to keep a Journal but miss days becuz of so much confusion he has brought to me on a daily basis. I have Blooged and got 1 response and am talking to her everynow and then. This lady has taking courses on Drugs and their effects, and socialwork.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- I am back in counseling but see my counselor only 2 times a mo. On the days that I dont i have no one to talk with.
