I was a OTR truck driver till I got diagnoised with Cronhs Disease and could no longer handle being on the road. It is a real shocker going from being on the go all the time to being at home due to a illness.

Thanks for the support! It's pretty weird to be suddenly isolated, isn't it??! I'm a voracious reader, too, thank God, and don't know what I'd do without books. I work online as a medical transcriptionist, which is sooooo fortunate, because I have my bathroom only steps away and nobody else in it! LOL (My husband knows that if he's on his way in there and I yell, he heads for the downstairs biffy). :) How are you feeling??

Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I have had crohns now for about four years. I also have had Fistulas due to the crohns The mornings are the worst for me. My life feels like it revoles around a bathroom. I would like to meet people that are dealing with crohns also cause at times it feels like people do not understand what we have to go through.

- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- did not work for me
- Azathioprine Not Working
- Entocort Working / Worked
- to soon to tell been on it for a week
- Lomotil Working / Worked
- It works long enough for me to go to the store and a couple errands
- Pamine Working / Worked
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- The side effects of prednisone for me makes me very moody
- Remicade Somewhat Helpful
- It help when I first stared th treatment but my ins would no longer pay for it
- Surgery Somewhat Helpful
