About Me
I had only been married 10 months when Myofascial Pain Syndrome struck me. I never even heard of such a strange injury! My husband, Larry, and I met in high school but our lives took us in separate directions. He remained in Pittsburgh, I moved to Seattle. We were reunited by a common high school friend, Linda, after we were both widowed. Some of the major reasons we got married and I returned to Pittsburgh were that we were both such active people and wanted to share our active lives. Then in just 10 quick months, after our marriage, I got Myofascial and I've been sidelined from life. My back, neck, arms, and right hand, are in pain most of the time. I can virtually do nothing. Larry has been supportive but I feel so sorry for him stuck with his pain-ridden wife. I work so hard to get better but as soon as I attempt to do some simple task such as cooking a meal, my body beats me up. I have to get better but I'm sure we all feel that way!

Hugbook
Hug
Sending HUGS from a distance on this Thanksgiving Day. Hope your current treatments are working so that you can enjoy the day. Write when you have time and let me know how you are doing.
Ray of Sunshine
Glad to hear that you were feeling better on Friday after your flare up from the massage. Hope you continued to feel better today. Thanks for your update, and I'll respond either tomorrow or Monday.
Miss You
Just want you to know that I haven't forgotten you. All of a sudden you dropped out, so I'm worried. If you are feeling up to it, send me a short message. Sending hugs in hopes that things are okay with you.
Hug
Thinking of you today and wondering how your doctor's appointment went and if you are staying with your son in order to recover from that hectic weekend. Take care of yourself.
Hug
Thanks for thinking of me. The injections are tomorrow, the 29th. Will give you an update as soon as I feel like it. They say you are to be stiff for 2 days, because that means it is working and then sore from 3-7 days. One gal who has had prolo in many different areas, said that she is tired afterwards but that the soreness is better than the tight muscle pain. Hugs and let me know how you are feeling. Has the "flare" subsided at all?
