Oct 1 gave heartworm meds...cannot ever forget...seems silly...but not to me.
Married, mother of 3: 16, 12 & 9. Became a mother relatively late in life but it was right for me. I have been fortunate enough to live all over the world and have experienced many different cultures. I am and always will be a work in progress...with plenty of typos!

For everyone who sent hugs, gave words of wisdom and support; thank you. It has helped me so very much. I know I have a long way to go but I am …
Just wanted to stop by and see how you and your new doggie are doing :)
I hope you go for your bike ride and enjoy it! I know what you mean tho - there are certain things i haven't been able to do since Thumpy died. We will get there, won't we?!! Enjoy your weekend!
You are a great person i can tell. you have a good attitude. You will love your new pet! I know very well it's hard to give him your all right now but i know you will (and so will i with my new baby) and make sure you make yourself happy too-you are as important as your loved ones you cherish in your life! Take Care!!
Good luck with your goal, you can do it! Hope you are enjoying your pup.
Hi i've been getting better day by day. Your puppy is so cute! I'm sure he'll get better with his agressivness as time goes on - everything is new to him yet too. I have to tell you my husband took me to look at a Chihuahua (1/4 Pug) last night I found on craigslist that needed a new home and we brought him home. OMG hope i did the right thing. Like you, I miss my Thumpy still very very much and am still not totally over what happended. My daughter thought i should get another dog-that it would be good for me. His name is Louie and he is so cute, just 5 pounds and a playful little thing, loves his toys. He's 1 year and house & crate trained (I've never had a dog that's used a crate before)so he's quite different than thumpy who just liked to eat, sleep & be with me. I think this new dog will like everyone not just me. And he loves our dog, Luke, although i think luke thinks he's a little pesty, haha. He will keep me busy and my mind off Thumper which will be good. My husband says "you know you don't have to keep him if it doesn't feel right" But i think he'll be a good dog plus you don't know what there really gonna be like til you've had them for atleast a month i think. So we are both adjusting to new doggies and i'm sure in time we'll have a bond with them as well. Of course it won't be the same as with our beloved Thumpy and Misha but that's to be expected. My husband is doing good now so that helps things! Well i hope you are doing well and Have Fun with your New Doggie!! Love, Deb :)
