I started swiming again on the 29th Sept.
The pool is 25m in lenth so
10 lengths = 1/4 of a kilometre
20 lengths = 1/2 of a kilometre
40 lenghts = 1 kilometre
or
64 lenghts = 1 mile
32 lenghts = 1/2 miles
16 lenghts = 1/4 mile
So my 1st time I same 22 lengths just over 1/2 km
the following week I swam 36 lenghts just over 1/2 mile
and this week I swam 50 lenghts whch is 1 1/4 km
My goal for next week is 64 lenghs.
However I have just signed up for 12 swimming seesion in the next month which means 3 times a week so I may have to drop down to 25 lengths to start.






Done two more seessions since writing the entry
I only managed 20 lengths on Wednesday, I had trouble getting to start swimming. Missed out Monday got the timming wrong and Tuesday I did nothing but sleep. So by the time Wednesday came I was not in the mood.
Friday I enjoyed my swim even maged a couple of lenght front crawl which was awesome. but I only managed 40 lenghts.
Making a total for the week of 60
