Close Depression
: Clinical (Major) DepressionMDD since childhood. Did the trial and error medication thing. Found one that worked. Going to counseling to try and fix behavioral issues. Had more episodes than I would like to have had lately. Looking for a sponsor.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Ive had several counselors. They all come from different angles based on different theories. The one I see now believes that the human can heal themself and that mental illness can be treated.
- Writing Working / Worked
- It does work for me. Its just a matter and being able to do it.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- Positive thinking works for me only when I am not so deep into an episode.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- You have to have a support system. My family support system is basically none existent. I have a few friends who do support me when they can.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- It works. I think I am better than I was before I was on it. I just have to get the behavioral issues under control.
