I have been on so many meds - i don't think anything will ever help me.

I see you take Trileptal. My doctor just prescribed this to me. Does it help stabilize your moods and are there any negative side effects? I want to try it if helps with bipolar.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diognosed Bipolar in 2000. I have been off meds for 2 months. I keep going off them because I get afraid to go to my doctor.
Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- Only gave to me in the psych ward being an alcoholic because of my bipolar. I have an addictive personality. self medicate.
- Depakote Not Working
- Been on so many meds at that time it's hard to tell if it really worked
- Seroquel Not Working
- Just gave me a bad med hangover with horrible headaches.
- Tegretol Working / Worked
- Works very well for me
- Trileptal Working / Worked
- works very well.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- In combonation with other meds so i don't think it was working.
- Zyprexa Not Working
- Not sure if it worked. Had many other meds with it so I can't say yes or no.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Bad headaches but calmed me down a bit
