    • About Me

When I was 15 I had a bad bout with Mononucleosis. I was never the same after that. Then after having 2 children, the symptom's just got worse. At age 27, I was finally diagnosed with MG. Then in March of 2008, I was diagnosed with Connective Tissue disease. In 2004, my big brother died of complication's due to Crohn's Disease. This too, I later learned, is a connective tissue disease. Obviously, we both inherited this. I'm here just to learn more and to associate with others :)

    • Little Love

      From sluong22 September 23

Please send my get well wishes to Michelle! I'm so sorry to hear she isn't feeling well enough for the comp. The screen can definitely be too much on the eyes sometimes, plus the typing if her joints are aching at all. I don't know if she's ever up for a phone call, but if so I'd love to say hi to her. If either of you are ever up for a chat, I'm here for you two. Take care and lots of hugs

  • Support Groups

    • Close Myasthenia Gravis

Actually, I've had Myasthenia Gravis for many years...I was also diagnosed, last year, with Lupus. In reality, it's really Mixed connective tissue disease. I am hoping to find someone with the same issues

      Treatments

      Mestinon Working / Worked
      Thymectomy Working / Worked
The thymectomy was very successful, but it only lessened the symptoms
    • Close Lupus

I was diagnosed in 1987 with Myasthenia Gravis and in Mar. of 2008, I was also diagnosed with Lupus

      Treatments

      Plaquenil Working / Worked
Plaquenil is a really good preventative
      Prednisone Working / Worked
It works, i just don't like it. I only use it if I have to.
      Relafen Working / Worked
Im not sure about the Relafen
