I see you take Trileptal and say it helps. My doctor recently gave me a prescription for this. Is beneficial in treating bipolar?

- Didn't know this was given for ADD--didn't help the focus problems while I was on it, at all!
Open Bipolar Disorder

- Depakote Not Working
- Geodon Not Working
- This med brought on hallucinations for me. Actually some of the most terrifying times of my life--though not all could be attributed to Geodon.
- Lamictal Not Working
- Warning! I had a reaction to this med in which my lymph nodes in my neck and head swelled. The pysch said it wasn't the meds, but the ear, nose, and throat doc told me to go off, and it went away immediately. I had to do the research to find out about this side effect: it does happen to some.
- Lithium Working / Worked
- But dulled me and gave me serious stomach problems
- Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
- But oh so tired in the am
- Tegretol Working / Worked
- My favorite
- Topamax Working / Worked
- My second favorite
- Trileptal Working / Worked
- My third favorite--on it now.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- The best thing I can do for myself is make sure I get 30 minutes to an hour of exercise 5x a week. Amazing results!
