Close Hydrocephalus

My granddaughter, born April 1st, has hydrocephaly. She had a shunt inserted last week. Her mother wants to find other parents to talk to and she asked me to see if I could find someone.

Shunts Working / Worked

Our baby had some fontanel taps in her first month and showed improvement for two months. She then underwent an ventrilostomy, but required a shunt operation 3 weeks later, August 13. She appears to be doing very well.
