I've come so far. A couple of months ago I would never agree to be reading anything in front of anyone, and now I'm reading in front of the entire school tomorrow at a remembrance day assembly. Of course I'm still anxious about it, but I've just been putting my acting face on lately, and it's given me so much confidence.
I can walk in front of a crowd of people with so much confidence now, I would never have done that before. I'm so proud of myself. I don't think I'll ever shut myself inside away from people again, it doesn't help at all just makes you get worse.
It's hard for me to leave the house alone in the morning, but when I'm coming back home hours later it's easy on the subway, I don't care as much as I use to about who might be looking at me.
I think I might try going out alone tomorrow.

That is so wonderful that you are speaking in front of an audience. I am very shy and have a hard time speaking one on one to people but I have always found speaking in front of an audience much easier because it isn't so personal. Plus this will help you in the future in dealing with business associates, etc. I hope it went well today. I am sure you will do great!
