Interests
I am a "small" town girl who loves the small things in life. I am a high school teacher and presently live with my boyfriend of 5+ years. My parents are a huge part of my life as well as the "family" I made during college. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be where I am today. I love to travel..!! I love to experience new things, ..!! I love the rain, singing in the shower, sleigh riding and basically just "enjoying" life...when I am awake. :) I have the most amazing boyfriend in the entire world that has been my rock and my light at the end of the tunnel through everything! He is amazing and what brings a smile to my face everyday!

February 2007 my life seemed to come change before my eyes and no one knew what was wrong or how to "fix" it. All I knew was that I couldn't even stay awake to teach my class and I couldn't even walk from one room to another without falling to the ground from lack of muscle control (Cateplexy). Now, 2 years later, I am back teaching but stuggling on a daily basis to keep people from seeing my dowsy eyes. I worry every day if I am going to be able to stay awake!
Treatments
- Adderall Working / Worked
- I have found that the generic brand does not work for me. I am presenly on 60mg a day and I find that some days I can just take 25-40mg. The medicine makes my mind race but most of the time doesn't take the general feeling of being tired stop. Sometimes I feel like my heart is going to jump out of my chest but...I can still manage to fall asleep!!
- Provigil Working / Worked
- I was on 400mg a day...then...one day it was as if it just stopped working and I was sick for over a week. I am now on 200mg and it seems to be working...(or it could be the Adderall)
- Ritalin Not Working
- DID NOT WORK FOR ME!!!
