Close Behcet's Disease
History of mouth ulcers and ulcerative colitis. Recently had sub-total colectomy. When prednisolone was ceaced after colectomy I developed mouth ulcers and genital ulcers including very painful peri-anal ulcer. Now have arthritis in elbow. Not diagnosed with Behcet's but considered the most likely diagnosis
Treatments
- Prednisone Too Soon to Tell
- Started on 10 mg of prednisone 3 weeks ago but hasn;t made a significant difference to my symptoms. Dose increased to 15 mg two days ago. Only side effect is insomnia.
