Close Organ Transplants
Types: Kidney (Renal)Was hospitalized in January 2008 for weird blood test results. Found I had renal failure and needed a transplant. My sister donated one of hers in late October 2008.
Treatments
- Cellcept Working / Worked
- Still working. Had some diarrhea at first from it I think but my body got used to it. Same does as the beginning 2 350 mg pills in the morning, 2 at night.
- Kidney Transplant Working / Worked
- Still working but I feel like I have a little ball tucked up inside my lower abdomen area.
- Prograf Working / Worked
- Working but the dose seems to be creeping up slowly. After initial boost I was lowered to 2 mg, then 1.5 mg a day, now back to 2 mg.
- Valcyte Working / Worked
- Worked. Haven't had any signs of occurrence after 11 months now.
