Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
I have been diagnosed with IC and I'm looking for advice on how to deal with it.
Treatments
- Bladder Instillation Not Working
- EXTREMELY PAINFUL...I will NEVER do that again!!
- Elmiron Not Working
- Noticed no improvement in 3 years, gained 50 pounds. Gave up on that one.
- Pyridium Not Working
- Makes me sick to my stomach and turns my urine orange. Other than that, no difference in pain.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- I cant take it regularly because I build up a tolerance. I take it every other night or so. Helps numb pain all over my body. Not like a narcotic or anything just helps keep the pain sensations down somehow.
- Dextropropoxyphene Working / Worked
- Used for only when its really bad such as during my period or when I have a headache and muscle aches from Fibromyalgia in addition to the IC.
