About Me
I have been married for close to 30 years to a saint. We have three wonderful men, ages 26, 24, 20. The older two children have been married for a year. They each married a fine young lady by the name of Jenna. Needless to say there is some jealousy amongst. the newlyweds. Our youngest son is a junior in college in West Virginia. Currently we are empty nesting. I was diagnosed with Bipolar II- Depression 7 years ago. I have struggled since that time. I am considered "treatment resistant". Currently, I am experiencing a mixed state which is horrible.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed with depression when I was 26 years old. I entered counseling on and off for 20 years. Then after receiving a promotion at work I hit a manic phase. It probably wasn't the first but it was the first to be diagnosed. I was asked to leave my position and I have not worked since. I have been hospitalized in four different hospitals and I have received ECT to no avail. Currently I am on medication for Bi-polar II and depression.
