My daughter was murdered by a stranger who broke into our home and stabbed everyone in the house. She just went to court and it ended in a mistrial. 11 out of 12 jurors thought she was "not guilty by reason of insanity". In reality, she was on crystal meth, not crazy. I read some of your blogs, you seemed to have come through this ordeal stronger. I hope I can say the same when everything is said and done.

I am glad you have that type of attorney, and you will have justice. I am also glad you are back on your meds. I tried the 'do it myself' approach too, and it didn't work so great. I have backed way off on it now, because I have gotten stronger. I credit God, some family members and my friends here at DS for that.

I too am so sorry for your loss and pain, I lost my son 4 months ago, and am also dealing with the system, so hang in there with us and we'll help you through this awful time. Lots os love,

I am so sorry about your son. I also lost a son 19 months ago and I understand your pain all too well. You will find a lot of support on here from mom's going thru the same. I am from Miami and lived there all my life up until 5 years ago. I'm here if you need someone to talk to. Hugs, Kim
