Training to run
Starting out I am at about a 12-13 minute mile. I have to stop about every 1/4 mile to walk for a few seconds.

2.5 years post op I had my surgury on 5.21.07. My weight was 337 lbs. I currently at 5'9, weigh in at 178 lbs and still have 13 lbs to lose. It was the best thing that I have ever done for myself, but it's not without it's challenges.
My brother has a TBI from a car accident 7 years ago. It's been a very long and stressful road for my family. He was 17 when it happened (two weeks away from college) his behavior has been largely effected by his injury. He has violent mood swings, sleeps very erratically and has no impulse control. It's the hardest thing to watch. He's just well enough to know he's not the same and he's frustrated and angry. There seems to be no specialists out there that handle the behavioral aspect of TBI.
