I am soon probably to find out that I have MS and I have no basic family support locally. My father has this mentality that I am making this all up or something. I am a writer, I have recently lost my main job due to being so bed dependent.

Yes, the Soma Compound is a lot stronger than regular Soma. I have tried both. I take baclofen during the day if I need it also. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, my mother has been in intensive care.

I'm looking for new insight on how to get my father and other relatives to accept me (for me and my sexuality) and support my health (going in for tests for MS this next week) rather than put up with his poor attitude towards social situations.
Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
I am going to go in for tests to determine if I truly have MS but I have had all the MS symptoms frequently this past month except maybe the vision thing yet.
Treatments
- Carisoprodol Considering
- Temporarily relieves the spasms. But not for very long.
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- Helps dull the pains in my feet that constantly hurt about 19 hours out of the 24 hour day. Just makes me even sleepier and more fatigued.
Open Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI lost my mother in January and I saw every second of her death. The worst thing anyone could ever see in their life... hands down, THE WORST!
Treatments
- Paxil Not Working
- Did not work at all. It gave me suicidal thoughts and 2 suicide attempts. The warning label suggested nobody under 25, but my doctor prescribed it anyway.... and I'm only 22!
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- My Therapist, and personal friend Kyla is an awesome support. The therapy though is somewhat ineffective as much because I don't get the chance to get into therapy regularly anymore.
- Support from Friends & Family Not Working
- My father is the worst support system I've ever had in my life, even when losing my mother just a few months ago!
- Writing Working / Worked
- I'm a writer by career, so doing my writing helps relieve immediate stresses.
