      Trying to get by. Lost my husband of 32 years of marriage in May of 09. He was only 55 years old. I knew him since I was 15 so I really don't know life without him. I am trying to stay strong for my kids and grandchildren.. Thank God for them. This site has helped me so much.

      Julie - I found out that at 6 months it is the peak of the grief cycle and it finally starts to decrease at 12 months. I was at 7 months and it was absolutely horrible and it is still pretty bad. My heart goes out to you as what you wrote is exactly how I feel. What are we doing here?
