6 monthhs ago i got engaged. I was under a lot of stress as i was trying to finish my M.phil dissertation before the marriage and preparing for the wedding. one month before the wedding i was diagnosed with RA. 90 percent of thje wedding preparations were finished and 400 cards were distributed but when i told my fiance about RA he and his parents cancelled the wedding he said he had a dream for his life ahead and that did not include living with a person with RA.
Treatments
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- i'm taking 5mg tablets 6 days a week
- Hydroxychloroquine Working / Worked
- i have had side effects like itching on my whole body. so i have switched to suflazine and discontinued hcqs for now
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- i'm on 20 mg injections right now. i switched to pills but the injection is more effective. i'm experiencing hair loss and a pinching sensation in the body
