About Me

I am 76, and retiredfrom the air force. I was in Vietnam for 1 year from may of 63 to may of 64 as a crew member on the C-123. At that time we would park next to the RanchHand Aircraft an visit back and forth. We also visited each other sleeping tents an unknowm number of times. We were all like a family, who knew what would happen. Then I went to C-141 school and for awhile probably 6 years (1965 to 1972) we flew in there at least twice a month and maybe sometimes 3 times a month. I believe Parkinsons is on my VA records, I see them twice a year, next in Jan 2010. I am seeing civilian doctors for all of my problems, at the suggestion of my VA doctor. I had a very bad episode at the VA clinic in Ocala and was sent by ambulance to a hospital. Found my blood pressure was almosr 300 over 220. The surgeon replaced 5 discs in my neck c-2,c-3,c-4,c5 &c6, then laying in bed after recovery I had a srtoke, that was in july 08. Then in January 09 my gallbladder had to be removed, because of gangrene,then at approx the same moment I had a heartattack.My wife has to drive me everywhere, I have not driven since July 08. That is the Main thrust of my problems. I feel, almost like they (my peoblems) are possibly connected, but parkinsons is quickly takin over. My wife thinks I had parkinsons some time before I was diagnosed. All the sudden my primary care doctor told me to walk back forth in the office. He said he was going to send ne to a specialist for parkinson I went to a regular nurolagist, but now I am being seen by a Parkinsons Specialist. I guess that should be enough Thank You Lee W Henry
