  Hey Amy,
  I know how scared you are. I was just there. I actually just got home from the hospital this morning. I had the tumor removed Friday. I am not sure where your faith lies, but my faith in God is what saw me through. When I first found out about the tumor, my reaction was "Why is this happening to me?" After the initial shock wore off, I began to look at the my situation as "Thank God they found it so soon." Whether they take part of your kidney or all of it, once it's gone there is a 95% chance it will never come back. There is no chemo or radiation involved. You are have such a GREAT chance at a full recovery. I am here to tell you, you are going to make it through this. I know it's hard not to be depressed about things, but if you ever want to talk about it, just write me.
