Ok, so, I really have to read a book for English sinse the book report has to be in next week. I don't mind reading, I like it. I don't mind that it's in English, in fact, I liek English more than Dutch. So why haven't I read a book yet?
I know why. I went to the library again today, and I was looking for some books for about an hour. I gave up. I realised there was no book at all that I wanted to read. First of all, the number of books in English for teenagers (adolescents) is well, 10, 20 at max. So there isn't very much choice becuz the adult books are too difficult most of the time. And I dont like most of the themes in adult books. And then picking a book for such a little number of books where I've already read most of it and can't make a book report of a second time, there's not much left.
And now I'm totally upset becuz I'm forced to read a book that I know I won't like. I've never been wrong. I've learned to pick the books I like. I've learned to look over the books I'll hate. Why can't the have rows and rows of books to pick from? For once, a lot of choice would have actually made things easier. Fuck the library.
I know I shouldn't get so upset becuz of such a small thing. But I can't help it.

You never know, you might like the book if you gave it a chance. Is not a very good comparison but I used to absolutly hate rock music, Id turn it off after a few seconds but I gave it a chance and is all I listen to now!
Do you think you'll be able to read it if you dont like it? You have a goal to get good grades so maybe that could be motivation enough to read it? "If I read this book and right a good report, I can up my grade and get further in my goal"

I read the book, I had too since there wasnt any other book. And I was right, it was really boring. But I did it and I'll write the book report tomorrow and it'll be ok. I just got fed up becuz there was so little choice. Ugh.

kk well done for reading it. I know what you mean about the choice (or lack of) I can never find a book I like, I cant imagen what is liek for you, youve got less english books over there. Good look with your report!
