  Hi it was good to hear from you! So your Mom will be trying some of the newer trial drugs by the sounds of things. My doctor said he may or may not remove my kidney if all the tumors shrink alot. We will have to wait ane see. Take care of yourself and your Mom. If you want to talk I am here. Debbie

  Hi Marie: My name is Debbie I also have stage four kidney cancer. I have a tumor on the brain and many in my lungs. I was going to have my left kidney removed the surgery was schedualed and everything until my surgeon saw my Mri"s and ct scans. The tumor is basically the entire left kidney and also a smaller tumor on the right kidney,. He said there is no way he would remove my kidney until the tumors are shrunk way down in my lungs and the one on the brain also and then maybe he would take it out. The kidney surgeon said it would be too dangerous to have the operation until the other tumors are shrunk. There is also the possilbilty they may never take out the kidney. So your mother is not alone. I had radiation on the brain and now I am getting chemo treatment. What are the plans of treatment for your Mom?
