About Me

My name is Kim and I am married to my husband Jamey for 6 years. 3 years ago...after 4 cylces of aggressive IVF treatments, we conceived our beautiful daughter Ava Jordan. She was born in December of 2006. Then, by the miracle of natural conception, we were pregnant with our 2nd daughter, due July 4, 2009. On June 24, full term at 38 1/2 weeks, I went into labor. Arrived at the hospital only to find there was no longer a heartbeat. Prior that day, at my NST, she had a perfect little heartbeat. They determined that her death was due to a cord accident. Wrapped once around her neck....and very skinny and twisted. Her name was Anna Lisa Bartnik. 6 pounds 7 ounces and 19 inches. A full head of brown hair, ..and the face of an angel. I miss her ever minute of every day. My 2 1/2 year-old daughter Ava, ..is too little to undertstand what is going on. Which is fortunate. And I am blessed to have Ava. But, am also blessed to have known Anna as well. My heart just aches for her. Aches to just hold her one more time. And tell her I love her.
