      I have been bipolar most of my life.I had a major depression episode and a emotional breakdown at the same time about 5 weeks ago.

      Treatments

      Lamictal Somewhat Helpful
      I get angry when I go manic and cannot control it.the lamictal helps control me to the point of not going out of control
      Lithium Working / Worked
      Lithium has worked for about 5 years until recently.It is less effective in keeping me from depression.
      Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
      I was put on zoloft after my last depression episode.It is working some as I dont feel as bad.I do have one side effect and it is sexual.
