I’m With You
The last message I had from my daughter said that they were on vacation with her in-laws (who are perfect in her eyes) and she would catch up with me when they returned on July 5th. As far as I am concerned the ball is in her court. I have given myself until January and if things stay the same I will change my will and leave her share to charity. If she wasn't my daughter I would not have put up with her crap for as long as I did and my life is more serene with her out of it.

Welcome to PEACE. I just read your post and your ex sounds like mine. My ex was also perfect in every way and my estranged daughter is just like him. We all make mistakes in life but I believe if we sincerely apologize and try to do better in the future that that should end the problem. It doesn't do us any good to keep beating ourselves up over the past but I know I do it more than I should. One of the benefits of this wonderful site is the emphasis on taking care of ourselves first.
