About Me
I am a domestic violence survivor!!! I was in a relationship for two and a half years with a man who was severely abusive: verbally, emotionally, mentally, physically, and sexually. I have left him - filing a family court order of protection to do so, and ultimately had him arrested. I'm am in the midst of court proceedings now. (I testified at Grand Jury & he has been indicted - I'm awaiting his arraignment, where he will hopefully be locked back up, and hopefully he takes a plea deal and I can avoid going to trial).

I am just getting out of a severely abusive relationship of two and a half years - physical, emotional, mental, verbal, & sexual abuse. I have had my former partner arrested, I am waiting for the court system at this point. I'm seeing a few counselors & therapists and they are helping. However, I plan to start going to a local support group as well, and thought this group could be of some support for myself. I also hope to help others in dealing with similar situations.
