  I would love to be your friend...if ds' software would let me. So count me in and as soon as I can get the computer to cooperate... I'll make it official.
  It is a very scary time right now, finding out that your child has a serious medical problem. To me it feels like the baby has strikes against it before it is even born! I can say, as a professional, (I'm an registered nurse, 30 years experience, lots of pediatrics and OB) that it is better to know early than late. Try to research and learn about hydrocephalus and the treatment options but take it slowly too.
  There is so much that can be done... and so much that is in the pipeline for the future.
  The one thing that I have learned working with kids is they will be kids, they will find joy and they will ALWAYS surprise you, doing far more than the doctors say.
