$3yo, Married 20yrs to great man,daughter is 11yo. Just started homeschooling this past September.I enjoy doing things w/ beads, mostly jewelry and other non-jewelry items. I enjoy reading and most of all, being in the choir part of our church's theatrical ministry. I have fibro,but that's not who or what I am. I have fibro, but it doesn't have me!

Close Fibromyalgia
want to see what tx I have,tried, find support of those who are taking pain meds. I feel alone and in a way ashamed of taking them.
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- hot water made joints sweel and painful. Have bursa in hip affeted by fibro as well.
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- worked great first few months, had dose increased 3-4 times. skin breakdown, itchiness. If patch fell off it could not be replaced and had to go a week w/o it.
- Elavil Working / Worked
- tired, not much help
- Lyrica Not Working
- both legs SWELLED LIKE CRAZY!!!
- Morphine Working / Worked
- Kadian....works great for me
- Neurontin Not Working
- don't remember side effects I had
- TENS Somewhat Helpful
- helpful in beginning. eventually not well and the wires and such more of a bother than worth
- Ultram Not Working
- no help
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- If I allow myself to think about how I am feeling it feels worse and effects my family too. I remind myself the pain is not forever.Pain nothing compared to the eternity in heavenw/ our Lord.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- I find walking works best for me. My daughter is homeschooled and we walk several times a day to get out of the house and sometin=mes go over different lessons while we go. I tend to overdo it when I am feeling good
