Close Families & Friends Affected By Suicide

Five years ago, my husband committed suicide. Shot himself. It was a long dark tunnel. I want to help others who are still in that phase.

Patience Working / Worked

Time heals. first take caree of yourself physically. Cry if you need to. Punch the walls if you want to. Curl up in the bathroom when you feel like it. But pray a lot.

Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful

We were going to a therapist before my husband died. I just went one more time after he died. She had a doctor prescribe Prozac for me,as she said I would be dealing with pain, grief, shame, guilt and anger. I did not take the Prozac.

Did not take the prescription.
