First Step Of My Journey
I Believe that I can, Overcome this and Beat everything in the end...
I Jessica, do swear that I will remind myself that I am a beautiful …
I just reccently turned twenty(June 2009) and I have been aware of my PCOS since I was around 16. During the last 4years I have done very little about it and have now reached a stagering weight of 210 at only a height of 5'0". I have been in a long term relationship for the last 2years with a wonderful man named Michael. We have begun talking about marriage and children and I have found myself feeling very alone and hopeless. Just looking for some friends, advice and understanding. :o)

I would love to talk to you soon! I have an appointment this Friday with a nutritionist, who also happens to be a certified trainer. I just hope she isn't going to sit there and tell me I need this many proteins, this much fiber. I need someone who can understands what I'm up against with the emotional overeating.
My husband hasn't been helping much. He's an enabler. He also is overweight but he's much better at the whole willpower thing. I told him last week that I was upset that he isn't helping me more, that he's giving in too much. He said it's just so hard to say no to me and see me upset. I told him I needed him to do it, though.
Hope to talk to you soon. I really enjoyed our chat a few weeks ago!
Hey! I recently joined the site too. I'm working on losing 100 pounds... 50 of which were lost and found again! It's so difficult getting the motivation especially when there's so much! I'm doing it with Weight Watchers which is great. And you lose weight slowly, which is the best, but i get impatient! I'm doing WW online... how about you?
I am 20 and have been aware of my PCOS for the last 4-5 years. I have been in a relationship with a wonderful man named Michael for the last 2years and we are talking more and more about marriage and kids. I weigh 210 at only 5'0" and need some support in droping 80 Lbs. I get very lonely and frustrated, just want some understanding and friends... :o)
