I did it, I have 23 shots left to go. Whoo hoo!
I am a little sick to my stomach but that is probably because my BG is WAY TOO high. :-(
I took a shot, in case my infusion site is bad. Ok, so two shots in one night. Interferon and insulin.
If I do get sick from the shot, how long til that hits?
The class was silly, the Dr. told me nothing that I did not know. Well, he did tell me that my Hep Dr. is quite famous in the Hep circle - he is the one who discovered interferon and ribivarian work well togther. Otherwise, nothing new was learned by me.
Afterwards, I went shopping at Stein Mart. I had a coupon. No fantastic deals - I spent $75 but I got a really cute dark blue denium double breasted pea coat, an adorable black winter hat (I will ge tthe matching gloves next payday), a 1940's white blouse and a tank top.
I love shopping.
Thank you everyone who so patiently supported me while waiting for tx to start.

hope ur well after the first shot! try to keep yourself better rather than waiting for the side effects to hit.. if they do rest, but until then try not to think about it :) let me know how it goes i might be starting treatment in the next month or so and it scares me not knowing what to expect seeing as everyone has different reactions

shopping is good, sounds like you got some nice things! I saved Tim a bunch of money while I was on tx, because I was to tired to go, but guessss what....I'm feeling better, and back to my ol ways...lol.

my 1st shot i did not get sick,I just felt a lil diff,you ask if your going to get sick how long before it hits,some people have reported with in a few mins,but most about 15 to 20 mins after shot,Each time is diff.but as time goes on you will get to know youre body and how it will go.Thats the thing about this type of tx,theres something new each time.But on the good side you have started your journey.and prayer and water works alot.water water water.I know you can beat it,you have done your homework,now is the time to use it.We are here for you.So here we go,Welcome to our world.you are never alone.Dreamstar
