My daughter's biological father is an alcoholic and we're currently in a custody battle. I have spent my life pleasing others to the point of exhaustion. I'm in a relationship, but we have a huge gap in understanding at the moment. I have made sacrifices for him, including my friends, that I have recently realized are cause of a building resentment. I fell guilt for being so unhappy and frustrated and I'm trying to find a means of relief - but have no where to turn.
