Get Well Soon!
Hang in there. I had problems for over a year where my docs/endo had no idea why I felt bad. Listen to your body and work with your doc(s). Just because the answer isn't obvious to the doc, it doesn't mean nothing is wrong with you. I started keeping daily journal for a while of how I felt, symptoms, medications, etc. I started feeling really fatigued about 6 months after starting Dostinex. My PCM put me on a low dose of thyroid medication to see if it would make me feel better; it had the opposite effect. After more discussion with my endo, and a blood test based on a hunch from one of the endo's residents, I was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. It took a while to work through the fatigue and muscle pain, but I started to slowly improve with the help of my docs and physical therapy. The unexpected pregnancy with my daughter "reset" my body, but I'm still learning that I have physical limitations that I have to accomodate in my daily life. Thyroid function is a simple blood test that can be ordered by your PCM. Adrenal function can also be checked with a ACTH stim test, takes about 2 hours and can be ordered by your endo. Remember, your not alone! Don't give up - you'll get better!!

Close Prolactinoma
Diagnosed by MRI with 6mm x 7mm prolactinoma in April, 2009 at age 23. Highest level of prolactin at 120 ug.
Treatments
- Dostinex Working / Worked
- Returned PRL to normal but levels seem to be slowly rising. Feel awful between doses. May need to increase dose. Looking for alternatives.
