Close GERD & Heartburn
Have had longstanding reflux, without chronic pain until 2 months ago. Have developed Barrett's in short segment.
Treatments
- Carafate Working / Worked
- On Omerprazole 80mgs daily since severe pain began 3 mo's ago. Today started Carafate.
- Prilosec Working / Worked
- started on 20mgs 2x daily, due to severe pain dose increased to 40mgs every 12 hours.
- Raising Bed Position Working / Worked
- Bought the Wedge Mattress, which i place on top of my regular mattress. It makes a difference.
