I was diagnosed at 22 ,and told I had 3 months to live in a little over a month I will be 35. There is hope I have been married to someone who was negative and have a very supportive and loving family. My advice is take your time because it's not an easy journey but always know your life will go on. I started Atripla about 3 years ago it works for me when I first got sick I was 86 pounds and had a CD4 of 9, yes 9. I was taking over 46 pills a day it was horrible, but now I'm doing well and I even became an RN since. I say just have hope please know life does go on. There are people who will love and support, and those who won't. Just forget those who don't love and support you. Please love yourself because the stigma of this disease can cause the lost of self-worth. This is a battle you don't need and if you need to talk I'm here.
