Hi Woodlawn...yes it sounds like we have lots in common! I am sorry that you are going through this but I look forward to comparing notes and helping each other through all this. Have you looked into donation yet? Or gotten on the list? If you are end of stage 4 you should be able to get on it now even though you are not ondialysis...I got on the list when my GFR was 19. It looks promising that I will have a live donor. I'd be happy to tlak to you about how I went sbout finding one if you are interested.

Close Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)
I'm anxious that I will be told it's time for dialysis @ my next dr app't. Diagnosed as teenager, now in late 40s. Currently only on BP med, statin, calcium supp, & sodium bicarb. Waiting for the other shoe to drop.... worried about ability to continue working (& correspondingly, to keep insurance).
