About Me
Hi - my name is Jen. My hubby has( or *HAD*) UC. On 9/10/09 he had j-pouch surgery. So he has a temporary ileostomy and will eventually have the "take-down" surgery in early December 09. Just trying to learn more about UC and how other people have dealt with the different challenges along the way... diet, medicines, surgery, recovery, colostomy, adjusting to life in general after surgery... etc...

Interests
--helping my hubby recover as soon as possible so we can get back to normal activities, like going out to eat sushi, or mexican food... travelling, attending USC Football games, taking our doggie on outings to the dog park or dog beach... (Duke is a Boston Terrier)

- sometimes keeping busy after I woke up in the middle of the night would help me to feel tired enough to fall asleep again. other times it would not help at all.
