Hi roth...I'm new to this group. You might like to read my message re MD and gluten intolerance. I have come across lots of info on the net suggesting a link between eye diseases and gluten intolerance. I'm on a gluten free diet in the hope it will help me with a lot of conditions I've had since childhood. Gluten does now seem to have been the culprit all along, only I've only just worked that out!

Close Macular Degeneration
I came down with WMD a year ago. I am only 51, so relatively young to have it. I had no knowledge of it until I came down with it. I was and am devastated by this situation. I have always been a very independent person, and very hard working. I have to say, nothing could have prepared me for this. Some days are better than others, and I try to keep my attitude positive. But there certainly are days when it's near impossible.
