      I am a 42 year old female with diabetes of 15 years, high blood presser. I had wanted to have this surgery for about 5 years and have put it off. For reason thinking I can lose weight on my own. I did lose about 45 lb and keep it off. But it start creeping up on me. Then I went to the doctor and was told it have effect my kidney. So that really hit home a lot. So, I decided to go ahead and have the surgery. I had the RNY on 7/28/09 weight 222. So this is my jurney.
