dvt nov 2003. PE June 2009. PE episode started about March 2009 - severe leg pain similar to dvt 6 years earlier. tests in Hospital proved negative. Leg pain subsided - then came a dry cough for about 7/8 weeks - followed by pain in right rib cage area - worse when lying down. No d-dimer carried out but Hosp assumed it was due to an infection. Leg pain returned End of May - unuasal pain and moved about from calf to ankle/feet. Doc sent me to Hosp for D-Dimer. D-Dimer positive. Leg scan was carried out but no clot discovered. Advised Doc of chest pain and a VQ scan was carried ot. PE was discovered in my right lung. On Warfarin now for life.

- Feel light headed at times nervousanxious and sometimes feel sick. stomach upset as well.
