      Hi, I'm Karen, and am an alcoholic. Just read your journal. First thing, Breath. (o; It will help. Next, you need to talk? I'm here. Just let me know. I know this seems imposible at times, but it isn't. You can do this just like the rest of us. I promise you that you wont be sorry you did. (o;

      Thank you so much for posting the HALT words of wisdom.I realised during and after my fall off the wagon that quite often when I was hungry I'd drink instead of eating something. Seeing your post about this confirmed to me that there are indeed triggers for my past drinking I'm continuing to work the 12 sreps and your practical advice has been very helpful!

      Take care, desertgal1
