my doc said the MS society did a test to see if it really does work and it came back that it doesnt help. If there was some scientific proof that it helps, even a little than he would give it to, but all there is peoples words, no proof :(
There is all sorts of "proof' on the drug companies web site, but guess that wasnt good enough.
My nero said drug companies do lie....(no sh*t) lol-

I am doing alright. My copaxone vacation lasted one day, lol. I am gonna try again and hope I dont get that copaxone reaction again.

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSDiagnosed with RRMS in 2005. Need help managing everything!
Treatments
- Avonex Not Working
- Worked in past for almost three years then got a new lesion. Switched to Copaxone.
- Baclofen Somewhat Helpful
- I only use this when my legs spasm... usually happens in cold weather only.
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- Working well except side effects- lumps, welts, itchiness... going on yr. and a half now and still having problems adjusting.
- LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone Working / Worked
- Just started. I am at 3.0 mg. now. Started at 1.5 mg. one month ago.
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- Helped me get strength in my legs so that I did not have to use my cane as much.
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- Used in past. Helped me when I was getting use to Avonex for 6 months.
Close Food Allergies
Type of allergy: Other FoodsDiagnosed with MS over 4 yrs. ago and read recently how diet can help by avoiding food allergies. I have several food allergies: mainly milk and hazlenuts and looking for ways to find milk alternatives.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Working by avoiding, but am very limited since there is dairy in almost everything.
