Thank you so much for all of your advice. Piper is doing fantastic. She just started back at school 1/2 days for now. Her surgery was 6 1/2 hours, we both spent one week at the hospital afterwards. She had a really hard time getting off the oxygen for some reason. Could be from her curve being so close to the lungs. The curve was at a 68 degree curve from T 4 to L 2. They straightened her out to 30 degrees. Dosn't sound like much , but it really is almost straight. You can not tell that she is even a slight bit off. What a world of difference. She is 2 1/2 inches taller and needed new pants.
Thank you for your friendship. How are you doing these days? How is school and how did Halloween go for you. The last time I saw your post, you were very mad at your dad. Piper's friends stopped by and gave her loads of goodies since she wasn't able to join in the fun.

Sadly, it is creeping it's way into our culture - where it has no historical roots. Oh dear - the Americanization of the World! OH! The choc.cake? - it is a virtual one - like the bottle of Grange Hermitage (it's a $375.00 bottle of red wine) I shared with a friend - online. One advantage is that there's no hangover next day. But the thought was there! JaneD.
