I enjoy taking naps, reading historical romance books (I know lame right), and the occasional chance to get a babysitter and escape with my husband. Our family enjoys camping, float trips, and pretty much anything outdoors.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks for your reply. I just joinded too. I will take my son to his regular doctor to get the diagnosis. He has seen a nuerologist for 6 years because he previously had seizures. They were healed and now he has tics. Or maybe we just didn't notice them before he turned six.

Thanks for the note. We are all trying so hard to work with her. The arguing is what wears me down the fastest. Absolutely everything is a battle...no matter what. Crazy but true...I can't wait for school to start...she is really great at school. I just wish we could have more peace at home.

Close Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
need someone to talk to who understands what it means and feels like to be a mother of a child with ODD and other issues. Need to feel more confident in my parenting.
Treatments
- Child Time-out Not Working
- He doesn't stay in time-out no matter how long you try and this option only leaves me feeling worse about myself and his situation. I hate fighting him over every little thing.
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- puts him to sleep at night he has really bad night terrors and this helps him to pass out faster because he is scared to be alone in the night.
- Strattera Not Working
- No difference as far as better goes pretty much didnt work

Open Healthy Relationships
Child with Tourette's and ODD, ADHD and posibble bipolar has almost ruined my marriage. Looking for some good advice on all aspects of marriage and family. I love my husband and feel that he loves me too. Just have alot on our plate. I thought that venting and coming up with healthy ways to address problems that arise before they explode seems the smarter way to go.

- Couples Counseling Working / Worked
- works while you attend but when you quit you seem to forget most of the stuff you are supposed to do i think because one or both don't have an outsider who knows what they are talking about to report negative behavior to.
- Talking Working / Worked
- helps but if nothing changes after the talking then it leaves you feeling worse
