I'm glad to give you your first hug! Welcome to the RA group! We have people in all stages of RA who have tried any number of meds and have information and practical tips to share. Our only rule is that no question is a dump question. We encourage people, especially new ones to the site, to post their concerns and questions. We are always glad to help.
I was diagnosed in 200l and have been through Remicade, Humera, Enbrel, Orencia and a ton of other meds. Luckily, I'm in remission now, but who knows

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
Hi, dx w/ra and fibromyalgia since 2006 and would like to chat w/others who deal with similar issues.
Treatments
- Humira Working / Worked
- My doc is changing me to Enbrel but my insurance won't cover it so I'm applying for assistance.
- Methotrexate Not Working
- Eeek! Allergic reaction!
- Prednisone Not Working
- Can't take this; makes me karaazy. Aaagh.
- Remicade Somewhat Helpful
- Took this for a while before I began having severe pain in my thigh bones after receiving i.v. plus it would wipe me out for a day or two afterward.
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Yay for pain management when needed!
- Mobic Working / Worked
- Helps with inflammation
