Close Anxiety
I have dealt with anxiety/panic for most of my life. There have been times when it has been less of an issue, but recently I realized that is something I will probably have to address for the rest of my life.
Treatments
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Didn't seem to work for me. Tried it before returning to Paxil this last time I went back on meds.
- Paxil Working / Worked
- Paxil worked for years. I stopped taking it two years ago, but due to a recent upsurge in panic/anxiety after a very stressful to years, I have started to take it again. No side effects aside from some slight "bathroom" issues, which seem to be subsiding after a week or so.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- God bless Xanax. I take them as infrequently as possible, but carry one or two in my fifth jean pocket as a safety net for my mind. Most I use up by crushing them or throwing them in the washing machine with my jeans. No side effects.
Close Panic Attacks
I have had issues with anxiety/panic most of my life. At times I have been treated with SSRIs. Recently realized/accepted it is something I will probably have to deal with the rest of my life.
Treatments
- Paxil Working / Worked
- Has worked well for me in the past . I recently started a taking them again. A few "bathroom" issues the first week or so, but no others.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- I carry one or two .5mg around in the fifth pocket of my jeans as a safety net. Most get thrown in the washing machine or crushed. When it need them, they work beautifully.
